Dr Tracy Peters MBBS FACSEP
Sport & Exercise Physician


Tracy is a Melbourne trained Sport and Exercise Physician.
She qualified in 1999 becoming a Fellow of the Australasian College of Sport And Exercise Physicians.
Tracy was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa and educated in Melbourne, Australia where she moved to as a child.
After completing her medical degree at Monash University, Tracy commenced surgical training.
She gained experience in trauma and intensive care medicine whilst completing two years as a surgical registrar,
the first year in general and then a year in orthopaedic surgery before joining the sports and exercise physician fellowship
training program.
Tracy also works as an Orthopaedic Assistant Surgeon.

As a child and teenager, Tracy studied dance. She still enjoys attending classes.
Tracy treats patients of all ages, levels of fitness and levels of physical skill.
As well as injury treatment, injury prevention is an important part of her practice.
She works closely with other specialists and allied health professionals.
Treatment scope includes performing ultrasound guided therapeutic injections. Feedback is always welcome.
Her special interest areas are football (all codes), other contact sports, cycling and dance medicine.
